Drug arrests in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — Police in Jamestown have made two more arrests after a lengthy drug trafficking investigation.

Police arrested 29-year-old Lamar Spencer after searching an East 6th Street home Friday morning. Officers found cocaine and a large quantity cash in the home.

Spencer is being charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

Also taken into custody Friday was 39-year-old John Anzalone, after a separate search at an Elam Avenue home. More than a half ounce of cocaine, marijuana, and cash were found in the home.

Anzalone is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of marijuana, and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

The investigation into drug trafficking in Jamestown is ongoing and police expect to make more arrests.
