HAMBURG, N.Y. — Hilbert College's Military Club held its annual Veterans' Day prayer service and honorary walk Monday afternoon on its Hamburg Campus.

Students and staff from Hilbert came out to honor veterans across the country by walking around the campus, which is decorated with rows of U.S flags and yellow ribbons on trees.

Military Club officials say the walk helps bring a military presence to Hilbert's campus.

Military Club President Cameron Haag said, "It started once we founded the Military Club about two years ago and it brings a representation of the military to Hilbert College that wasn't there before."

The Military Club at Hilbert, which raises awareness for military and veteran issues, has been in existence since 2010. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
