Win or lose, Bills fans love to tailgate, and they're loving the primetime spotlight.

If you come out here for a Sunday game, the parking lots are packed as early as 8 a.m., full of dedicated fans tailgating, waiting to cheer on the Bills. As it turns out, tailgating for the team's first primetime game in four years, on a weeknight no less, is no different.

"Tailgating is the new community social."

There were hundreds socializing outside The Ralph early Thursday morning, some as early as 8 o'clock.

"We got here last night, because if we don't get here last night, you've got to wait," said John Cortellini.

I've had season tickets for ten years now, have not made the playoffs yet, but I think the reason that I still come back is for the tailgate, obviously," said Shawn Mommertz.

According to Joe Cahn, "the Commissioner of Tailgating," nothing quite compares to the Thursday tailgate.

"It's the last great American neighborhood. It is really, truly the only place where the community gets together, that we talk about the important things," said Cahn.

Like the game's outcome.

"I think the Bills win by a touchdown," said Cortellini.

And the hangover to inevitably follow.

"I took off work today and tomorrow, from my big boy job," Mommertz said.

"I don't have to work until tomorrow night, so I'll be good to go," said Curtis Masich.

Though it seems whether or not these superfans and even the commissioner himself will actually make it to the game after 12 hours of partying, is up for some debate.

"I don't think anyone's going to make it to the game," Cortellini said with a laugh.

"When did they start this? There is a game after tailgate?" asked Cahn.
