  • Text size: + -

An Orleans County Sheriff's Correction Officer was arrested Thursday afternoon after accusations of misconduct while on-duty.

Charles E Parker Junior, 47, of Knowlesville is charged for two alleged cases of misconduct in the Orleans County Jail in October and November.

The seven-year veteran Correction Officer is accused of having inappropriate conduct with a female inmate in the jail. He's also accused of giving money to the sister of a different inmate, which police say was then used to post her bail.

Parker was ordered to give up his weapons after an order of protection was issued for those involved. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
