LOCKPORT, N.Y. — A man faces several charges after fighting with a police officer who was questioning him about a possible shooting.
Police in Lockport arrested Kenneth Houghton Jr. following a suspected shooting on Genesee Street.
Police questioned several people inside a nearby home who were suspected in firing a shotgun that was found.
Houghton was arrested and then broke a detective's thumb during a struggle.
He's charged with six felonies and a misdemeanor; including assault, reckless endangerment, and criminal use of a firearm.
