LANCASTER, NY--Dennis Gabryszak was sworn in Sunday evening to his fourth term in office as a New York State Assemblyman serving the 143rd district.
Dozens of family and friends came to show their support for Gabryszak at the ceremony, held at the Lancaster Opera House. The newly re-elected assemblyman stressed the importance of fixing the local economy and creating jobs during his next term.
Gabryszak said, "We need to create the opportunity for jobs, create the opportunity for businesses to come here, make New York truly a much more business friendly state."
At the ceremony, Gabryszak announced that the Opera House will receive fifty thousand dollars in state funding for renovations.
