JAMESTOWN, N.Y. -- The search for a new superintendent is now underway in the Jamestown Public Schools District.
The district is now accepting applications. Candidates can apply until March 18, 2013.
District officials hope to begin negotiating a contract with the chosen candidate by mid-May and have the person in place to begin working at the beginning of August.
Superintendent Deke Kathman is retiring at the end of the school year.
