ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Bills have been rewarded for another sub-par season by being shut out of the Pro Bowl. Not a single Buffalo player is on the roster, which was announced Wednesday night. The Pro Bowl teams are decided by voting in equal parts from fans, players and coaches.

Of course the Bills battling just to finish 6-10 and an eighth straight losing season didn't help.

Heading into Sunday's finale with the Jets, there are questions about whether the quarterback and the head coach will return next season, among other changes that could be on the way.

Not exactly what the Bills envisioned after an off-season and training camp filled with optimism.

"I don't think that anybody in this building should be completely comfortable with where we are and where our team has been," said safety George Wilson.

Chan Gailey is 15-32 in his three years as head coach.

"The last three have been frustrating," said Gailey. "I have been fortunate to be around situations in the past where we have been able to turn it around in a fairly short period of time.

"We have not been able to do it yet, so yeah it has been disappointing to me personally. It has."

In other news Wednesday, a Western New York product getting another shot with the Bills. The club has signed tight end Derek Buttles to the practice squad. The Letchworth High School graduate had a tryout last spring during rookie mini-camp. Offensive tackle J.B. Shugarts was released from the practice squad.
